advancing to home
3B A "El Gatto" Pappas' cat like reflexes to snare a line shot in the hole to
take away a sure single and potential double.
After giving up 4 runs in the 1st inning, Jancura settled in on the mound and pitched
another 7 strong innings without giving up a run for a complete game
8 innng / extra-inning win.

Catcher Murphy picked off another runner attempting to steal 2B with
a rocket to SS Teplansky
3B A "El Gatto" Pappas' cat like reflexes again snared a line shot in the
hole to take away a sure single
A great double play recorded by SS Teplansky to Catcher Murphy to get the
runner at home and Murphy firing the ball to 3B baseman A Pappas to get the
runner trying to advance from 2nd base to 3rd base.
Holding the Firebirds to no runs, Wittmer pitched a complete mercy rule shortened 5 inning
59 pitch game.
